Watchung Lake is a great place to take a walk or just relax. Looks best in full screen view.
Hope you enjoy.
Very nice. Isn't that near where the Martians landed in 1938? : )
Beautiful, serene location and a very nice shot.

Morning Jerry - glad you liked it. Grovers Mill in West Windsor is about an hour away, depending on traffic.
Thanks jederick - I appreciate your comment.

Thanks Carol - it was a very nice little park. I often drove right by it, and this time I finally stopped.

Thanks Bruce - I'm glad you liked it.
As I usually do with your photos, I open them in photoshop. Not because I believe the photo is lacking in some way, but more as a way to get to spend time with it, and use it as a learning experience. I guess I might prefer a slight decrease in saturation. Just my taste, but I am not able to identify any alterations that I would consider to be an improvement, though I did experiment quite a bit. I did noticed how the thin strip of grass at the very bottom demanded looking at, and how just a slight crop altered the picture so much. I can also imagine how differently it would look with just a little more foreground included. I just think its so interesting how very slight changes in cropping can completely alter how we visually engage a scene. Or is it just me. Anyway, it's certainly got an enchanting quality and enjoys your very reliable eye for composition

Thanks fergmark - both for looking and also for spending some time with the image. I always appreciate suggestions, and will revisit this one regarding saturation and possible crops. I played with multiple different crops before settling on this one, but I will look at it again.
Hope all is well.
