Exquisite image, Carla. As you described: ethereal and fanciful.

thank you, Linda. I love the IR world...days like today I wished I lived there. It just seems quiet and celestial, and all the dirt/grime/foulness is covered in this pretty snow-like covering.

thank you, Jack. In a perfect world, I would have been able to take this with the bridge on the RIGHT 1/3. But alas, what you want isn't always available, right? Thank you for looking in and your very excellent comment!

This is way cool. Loved shooting infra-red film.

I am SO glad you think so, A10! A converted camera is SO much easier than shooting IR film, good for you to be able to do it. I think I only shot 1 roll and results were not worth the effort I put into it. I should not have given up but film was expensive, as was development and my resources were limited at that time.

Excellent capture and title carlysue. IR always makes me think of a winter wonderland!

Thank you for your encouragement, Sylvia! I agree totally! I feel all the dirt and corruption and grime and slime of the world is covered with this snow-like white blanket! Makes me want to live there!

Hey Carla that look great, do you use the Panasonic? I still have the same, now I can't get out anymore, no more Driver License. Cheers.

I DID!!! I just love using that little camera, Mike! And I cannot thank you enough for opening this world to me. I tried IR film years and years ago but I remember it being quite touchy to load and problems getting it developed. This does not compare even a little to yours but you have inspired me to do better. thank you, Mike!!
My Dad who is 95 gave up his license last month so I am his driver and take him where ever and when ever he wants. He lives alone, about 5 minutes from me and I am actually thrilled to take him and keep him independent as possible. But I know how you must hate being dependent. He does. His driving skills were actually ok, even with hearing loss, but he couldn't justify the amount of money for insurance. I must say that my stress level is a bit lower, knowing he's not driving this idiotic Columbus traffic.

Hi Sandy, and thank you for checking this out! I think the "wonderland" that IR portrays, as you say,"ethereal magic" (I like that term!) is what draws me to this genre of photography. I am so pleased you enjoyed this bit of "magic"!
