Just downloaded it today and enjoyed fiddling around with it a bit. Some of the presets are nice, but just a tad is needed, so lowering the opacity of the effect is a necessity imo. The download is free if you already own Adjust.

No, but got an Email today with a sale price of $59.99 until July 8. I'm am not a big fan of Topaz Studio, but have to admit Sharpen AI, Gigapixel AI, DeNoise AI and JPEG to Raw AI are pretty good, so I will probably get Adjust. My reservation is that I believe that PP is an important part of the creative process and am reluctant to turn it over to a machine, but it can't hurt to see what it thinks is a good photo.

Yes, I have been experimenting with it too. Jury is still out on what I think of it.

They sent it to me free today, supposedly because I had bought a prior version of Adjust. and I tried it but wasn't impressed at all. It made a mess of all the photos I tried it on. Thankfully it didn't over-write the original Adjust which is more robust and does a better job. I still use it a fair amount.

I like a lot of Topaz plugins but this isn't one of the ones I can see myself using much. I am grateful that they gifted it to me though, and I'll continue to play with it to see if I can figure out a way to get something out of it.

I'd strongly suggest you do a trial before buying.

I got it for free today since I already have adjust, but by going to www.plugsandpixels.com/discounts you can find a coupon word to use when ordering from Topaz that will give you another 15% off. I am assuming that this 15% applied to the sale price too.

Thanks all for the replies. I'll probably download the free trial, play with it for a while and when the 30 days run out I'll probably buy it because, who knows, I might need one of those presets someday.

I was eligible for a free upgrade to Adjust A.I., so I happily downloaded and installed it to give it a shot.

It seems pretty fast and can make some pretty good decisions, which I assume may only get better with use/age.

FWIW: the presets are just presets, the auto is about the A.I., and can save your own presets.

Of course your mileage may vary, worth a look at least as a try before buy in my opinion.

I downloaded it today - got it free - and have given it just a cursory look. At this point it appears to me to be better than some of the other recent Topaz AI offerings. It would seem to be suited for those pictures which don't need sophisticated processing - more of a touch-up.

While it is automatic - in the application of presets - there are sliders controlling many different functions, plus a slider allowing selection of the total effect to be applied from 0 to 100 %. I believe it to be worth another look - especially for free.

Also downloaded it today, but when I used it all my RAW CR2 had a reddish to purplish cast. Any suggestions?

i use Nik DEfine for noise. Works well. Topaz does to, perhaps slightly better, but since my workflow uses other Nik plugins, I just use Nik. as for other topaz products, I like them. the ai sharp taxes a very long time on my computer. I have ab older computer, an I5 and 16 gb ram. As a result I stick with Nik Sharpen, work just as well and is much quicker, Megapixel takes a log time as well. One thing that help tio flatten your image first if you use other plugins before you use AI sharpen or Mega pixel.

I like it. Saves me steps. One plugin instead of two

I have played around with it. I agree with Donna, the effect needs to be controlled to taste with the opacity slider. I never used presets with the "old" version without tweaking the effects on the file.
Like any new software some practice is needed.

I've played with it some. Most of the presets are in Topaz Studio in their effects. Not sure there's much difference between them other it being a bit more automated. Their other AI products are very good. Not too sure yet on this one. Will have to play with it a bit more.

Would you guys with experience using this, share what it seems to do for your images? I really like AI Denoise. It just cleans things up and sharpens a bit. So what is left that this offers? Thanks!
