Thank you - Can I have a look at your website? I am curious of the final look.

I am more and more interested in Smugmug. I think, I am going that way.

Take a look at jAlbum.net. They may have what you are looking for, including on line storage and e-commerce. I have been using them for years. Nice staff. Good support. A wide variety of "skins" to display your stuff. Tag with key words, watermark, etc. The tiger skin is recommended for responsive display on phones as well as tablets and PCs. They provide storage or you can use a hosting service to display your stuff.

View an example at https://bronord.com/pics/phil/

Look at it on different devices - a PC (shrink and expand) the window, a tablet and a cell phone - in portrait and landscape modes. Nite that I am not a pro so my shots are simple.

Good luck.

Hello I’m still getting used to this website I think your reply was to me? I have a SmugMug website. They also have a SmugMug app I really love that as well people can load that and get in access right to your pictures. But the website my website is Lschiz-photography.com.
The capital L Probably not necessary but I did that just for clarity. There is in the menu there is one called family private. That access is password-protected so you could do the same for any folders that you wanted the load for friends or clients and keep everybody protected from everybody else . I only password protect that so the millions of people (ha ha) the millions of people that visit my website don’t have access to our private family images etc. That password is 7522 I’m happy to give that to you just so you can browse and see the functionality.

Also search for the app SmugMug. It is really convenient. Load that up and you can when you have an account you can load it up so it defaults right to your web or others can load the app and they can go to the bottom right hand side and search for your SmugMug name.
If you choose to look into that you can go to the bottom right search for other people on the SmugMug search for them by their names. The accounts have user names websites etc. but the app has its own name I believe. The name on my app is simply Scott Chism. If you search for me under that then you’ll see the same website through the app.
One of the great things about this kind of blog website there’s so many people have so many experiences with so many good things and everybody who uses theirs favors theirs. While I really favor this there may be others out there that don’t necessarily consider this to be a prime choice but it’s certainly worth considering thank you

Oops! I intended the reply for the original poster. I chose Quick reply and that, evidently, led directly to you. But the mistake led to a nice exchange. Your albums look great. Loved the motorcycle and Colorado mountains.

Now I've got to figure out how to get my message to the original poster.

Best regards,

Roger

I mistakenly posted this as a reply to someone else and it got "lost" on p. 3 so here's a repost so you are more likely to see my reply to the original correspontdent.

You did very well - Thanks a lot, it was extremely helpful to see a private gallery (Especially that you can make under folders).

I am going with Smugmug. you convinced me.

Thank you. It’s a ton of fun. Takes some time to get it set and detailed but any system will need investment.
It sold itself to you too.
Enjoy!!

One bit of info that I don't recall anyone mentioning about SmugMug. If you click on an image in a gallery, at the bottom right of the screen there will be a row of icons. The info icon shows you the exposure specs and other info for that image. I also like the sizes icon, which gives you the option to change the viewing resolution to different sizes.

I decided on Weebly for my site. I put up 4 pages on facesoftheworld7619.weebly.com if you'd like to see it. Many are from my 3-month trip around the world, with a few others from here added to it.

PS provide nice possibility but it is not super optimized, extremely long to make actually ...
And do not provide a way of having a fully automated gallery where your clients can come and order prints etc.

Also, websites made with PS are not optimized for smartphones witch just simply kills your google ranking...

You call 10-15min. extremely long? And yes, it is fully functional in every which way, incl. where clients can come and order prints, etc.!
