Paint brush plant update.

This plant has an unbelievably slow blossoming cycle. The white blossom appeared one day & looked exactly the same for three weeks, when it literally died & fell apart over night. Nothing happened until the green seed pods appeared two weeks later. Over a period of several weeks, the pods have been slowly changing to a red color, as seen in the last picture. I will keep an eye on them as I have no idea what the next development will be, lol. Downloading is recommended.

I think this is unusual and quite neat. I love the blossom and the cluster of seeds is very pretty when it turns red.
Very interesting post, Earl, and nice shots!
Certainly is interesting to see the life cycle of this flower. Who would have guessed the green pods to turn into red berries? I think it's great to show a story of something as it becomes more than what one picture can tell.
Curious indeed, Earl. Keep us posted.

Earl, DDLs are a must to see thegreat details of this excellent set.

I suspect it is a type of wild alium plant, (which includes garlic, and onions.) They produce bulblets and these look vaguely like some of these. Keep us posted about the blooms. I have an interest in plants. Thanks.
Whatever they are, they're certainly interesting! And lovely. Well done.
Make sure you save the seeds for replanting.
Very good Earl, if you let the seeds drop and leave them in the pot they will grow. I have a plant that has seeds growing and also shoots from the main plant....

Both the original blossom and the red berries are beautiful Earl. Excellent set.
