We are going to Maui next April and would like a roller case to carry on the plane. I will be taking my camera, 50 mm, 24-70 mm, 70-200 lenses and a Manfoto globtrotter tripod.
My current bag will not hold 70-200 (too tall).
All suggestions appreciated,
Jim

Amazon Basics roller bag should do it. I have one that holds my 150-600 just fine (and a whole lot more) without breaking the bank.

Think Tank for sure. The larger bag will fit in the overhead bin and has room to stuff some extra clothes around you photo gear.

Think Tank but costs around $360. Inside is configured to fit what you want by moving or removing Velcro attached panels. I have mine configured to hold 2 Canon 1 Series bodies, 85mm, 24-70, 70-200, 2x extender, several Speedlites and Speedlite transmitter. Also spare batteries and lots of little stuff. Can strap a monopod or tripod to the side, or perhaps make room for one inside.
Think Tank Navigator bag! I have used it many times on airlines.
I have used a Nikon with a 150-600 lens in this bag. The thing I love about it is you can just put the camera/lens in straight down and just open the top zipper to get it out. You don't have to lay the bag down.
PM me if you want a code where you get a freebie.

I am also a Think Tank affection-ado and I have this same bag which I have also used frequently on aircraft. For such travel, I find this an exceptional bag. Best of luck.
As others suggested, go with thinkTANK.
I use the Airport Takeoff V2.0. It's a roller bag with stowable (and rugged) backpack straps. I fit a 150-600 and an assortment of other lenses and accessories inside with room to spare.
I spent way too much money trying to find a good bag to carry camera equipment on the plane. Bought and sold many I thought sounded right only to be disappointed when it arrived--mostly too big. Finally went into local camera store and explained my issues. (Absolutely, my bad--it is the first place I should have gone!!) They found me exactly the bag I needed and wanted, which was a smaller Think Tank Airporter (I believe is what it is called). You don't have much equipment really, the navigator would probably be fine for you. These bags are on the expensive side, but I found it sort of like buying a tripod. You can waste money on bags that don't work or get one that is right the first time. Also, the internet isn't necessarily the best place for asking for bag advice. I took some advice from this site, but most people recommending bags turned out to be quite a bit bigger than I am and that didn't work so well.
I realize not everyone has a camera store near by, but if you do, you might want to check it out.
Any Think Tank with wheels will handle the equipment you listed. A tad expensive for a suitcase, but built like a tank and should last a long time. Good wheels, sturdy handle and unobtrusive classic black color.
Have traveled to at least 4 continents with a think tank bag full of equipment and it has never failed me.

I realize that in general, airlines employ larger aircraft for flying between Maui and CONUS, so this REMINDER may be moot. But lately, I have observed on my flights taken on major U.S. carriers between major hubs, that the airlines have
routinely been obliging passengers, at the last minute, to check their "roller" cases below whilst carryons without rollers remain with the passenger in the cabin.
