Your photographs speak volumes
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I love shooting these horses at the Ranch.

These shots are from my shoot at the ranch. It was about 28 degrees and windy - so cold, hard to hold camera and focus.

What a great series Rowedean!!
Hi,
Your shots are FANTASTIC! Were they taken in the evening?
I live in Highlands Ranch and recently did a shoot at a wild horse sanctuary out near Deer Trail with Mike’s Camera. Got some great shots but nothing like yours.

Tom, thanks. Most were taken early morning - very early. We were at the ranch by 5:15. These are from two different days. So, of course, different light each day.
You used the light well.

It may have been cold but at least you had sunshine and pretty clouds to compliment these beautiful horses. You did a great job on these captures and put together a very enjoyable look at ranch activities!

Wow, your were working with some gorgeous light here Rowedean and the results are beautiful! I love the idea of a place called Music Meadows Ranch. Glad you are back with us.

Beautiful; looking at pictures like these always immediately reminds me of my Wife. She loved horses and would have loved to be doing just what these folks are enjoying.
I hope this isn't in bad taste,, but I had to laugh at image #2, the one where they are standing around looking at each other. I thought one of them was saying, "alright, who is passing gas"? Then I saw the horse on the left side of the image , the one who in the rear, and I saw the expression on his face. Looks like he is laughing. I guess we know who the guilty one is!
