Hi. This was some of the photos I took last week, always love looking at this beautiful flowers. You can see the differences between the photos, about the focus. As far as I can remember the camera was in manual mode, F5, 1/100 or 80 I guess. ISO on auto mode.
The color of the red rose is nice. Red is a color most digital cameras have difficulty capturing.Your processing has stripped all the EXIF data. If you posted the original file, or did the processing via Canon's DPP software, we could see your shooting mode, focus mode and focus point(s). The f/5 aperture will have a lot of artistic blur, but you'll need to use a single AF point set on the edge on one of the center petals of the flower. For flowers like these outside of direct sunlight, try adding +1 Exposure Compensation (EC) to advise the camera you want a brighter exposure, not a shaded grey.
