These look like Organ Pipe Cactus Blooms. They Bloom at night and begin to wilt when the sun comes up.

Is that what is called an Orchid Cactus? If so, I had a dark pink one for a time. It almost glowed in the center of the bloom. The problem with it was slugs and snails loved it. They just ignored the rose that was near the Orchid cactus and feasted on it.

The ones I have in my yard Bloom in the middle of the night and start dying the minute the Sun comes up.
