Nice shot. I'm planning on going to "WINGS OVER WHITEMAN" at Whiteman AFB in Mo. this Saturday. Any UHH members going or have been before?

What a beauty, and set up for racing.
It had technology decades ahead of its time. Interesting factoid: The AAF was so impressed with the handling characteristics of the Texan trainer, that they attempted ... successfully ... to largely duplicate those characteristics in the P-51.

I got this shot at the Chino (Ca) Airshow about a month ago.
My mom was a Rosie the Riveter on those planes.
Excellent! Thanks for posting.
Man, would I love to fly one of those!
You've captured the beautiful lines of a truly historical aircraft. Excellent lighting and shows great detail. Mahalo for sharing.
Nice image of a P-51.

I love the discoloration of the metal from the exhaust. It seems to add to the attitude of the plane.

A great aircraft. Which motor? Rolls Royce V12 Merlin built under licence by Packard?
