Three different images.
I should add that they were photographed at three different times having three different purposes.
The first image is a sunrise at Hutchinson Island, Central Florida East Coast. I got early in this April morning expecting a good sunrise and God rewarded me with one. Pen EP-5 with Panasonic 7-14 f4 on a cheap Dolica tripod.
The second image took place when while spending a weekend in Islamorada, Florida Keys, I photographed this view prior to a brief winter storm, if memory does not fail, signaling the passing of a front. I used my Nikon camera and the 12-24 f4 lens. Handheld image. Notice that the light was rather flat but it was bright enough and only a lift in contrast was enough to please my taste.
The third image is from Maine. I was camping there when I noticed the changing, beautiful colors of the sunset reflected on the lake so I grabbed my Nikon D70 and I am not sure if this was my old 35mm f2 AI lens which I used for the image. Camera on a tripod.
The mood is different in each photograph. I am usually attracted and photograph subjects under these lighting conditions.
Thank you for the nice comments.
I am by no means an expert; however I just don't see how these images could be any better. Beautiful! I like them all.
If that seascape were mine it would be on my wall post-haste. In a large expensive frame.
