DarkTable and RawTherapee are both open source, most platforms and extremely capable. My own experience with them is a huge amount of frustration with their interface (an MacOS).

It is well worth the time to download, install and try them. Perhaps you will find one or both to your liking. You cannot beat the price.

RawTherapee has been deemed to be the better of the two ...

How so?

I find DarkTable far more useful than RawTherapee.

OutdoorOldie,
We've used Darktable and Raw Therapee (and Gimp) on Windows for years and they work quite well. Everything has it's own different learning curve, but as others have said, you can't beat the price.sv
