To Honor a friend,
I've shot film for years and now do it all digitally. I'm 58 and have done many things to have many hobbies but photography has always been #1. I've always seen the good shot but wasn't really good and taking clean, sharp pictures until a friend showed me a picture she had taken with a Nikon D40. I was totally blown away. I hope to inspire anyone willing to look and listen. Thank you Debbie for inspiring me to go further in my journey and become more than I ever dreamed. Debbie always had an eye for the shot.
Thank you.
Enjoy
PS - I was the first to buy one of her pictures. This was it and it cost me dearly ... one dollar. Cheers!
Great image, nice to see you have such a good example to follow!
Brother, it's there now to inspire us all. And still, what a Great Shot!
Every time I blow a perfect shot that could have been the "ONE" if I didn't screw it up, I'm encouraged to do better next time. And I usually spend hours or days trying to figure out what I did wrong!
I was first inspired by the beautiful work of Kathleen Clemons and Mike Moats, and they (plus others) continue to inspire me to do better. Excellent shot of a beautiful lotus!

I see why you were inspired--excellent shot.
