Very active. Game trails in 2 directions meet in my backyard. Rural area, but no hunting so the animals are comfortable with people. This is a retirement community and some of the residents who don’t get out much enjoy seeing the videos. That s the man reason I have that camera. My main camera is a Niko. D5600 I use for still photos.

Cool! We border a 55 acre wood behind us that connects to the 11,000 acre Buck Lake WMA. Many trails. Local poachers slip into our woods and hunt the border to the WMA, the Florida FWC (police/ranger combination) try to catch them. We are lucky if most deer make it to adulthood, as they shoot anything that moves (male/female/babies). Wife and I consider our property a nature preserve, even if only a couple acres, and we provide water (bone dry now/drought conditions) even my two small ponds are dry (water table has dropped to low), so a couple small kiddie pools suffice. Hunting isn't legal on the 55 acres, and only during legal hunt times for the WMA, but that doesn't stop them. I haven't hunted since I was a teen, hunt with my DSLR's now (Nikon and Sony). The game cameras provide a perspective that is hard to duplicate otherwise.

Our area is unique. Most of the land is in fairly small (less than 50 acres each) properties, which means it is hard for nefarious people to be Unobserved ,and most of the land is owned by Quakers, Quaker organizations, state or regional parks (and we have a police horse stable in one of the parks).This area is zoned “rural” but the county is mainly suburban, with a high level of environmentalism. All are factors that protect wildlife. Actually DNR has to cull the deer population every few years.

Cool, thanks for posting a shot. I want to get a better one, esp. with night vision capability, better glass and higher MP. Would not want to get between momma and those baby hogs, got chased in my own yard one time, my big old dog saved my bacon!!
