Keep it out of reach of the deer and maybe it will recuperate enough to bloom again. This winter, bring it indoors and put it in a cool place and water it occasionally. You might have some luck next spring and have a fully functional Hibiscus. I had one for several years that I did that to and it always came back.
True. I had one that wintered in the garage, and it came back. Unfortunately the deer got that one too.
