Insurance Discount

Every couple of years, I take an online safety course and receive a discount on my car insurance. It's not the simplest thing in the world - multiple tests along the way - but the time and discount are worth the effort. There are many courses offered, so if you do this, be sure your insurance company accepts it. I just got an email from the National Safety Council reminding me that my discount expires in July. I'll have to call MetLife and see what course I have to take.

Car insurance is not all that expensive. How much can you possibly save??

Over 3 years in NYS liability and collision, it adds up, 10% off each 6 month renewal, plus if you have points it reduces/ removes points.

I think it's 15% off the bill each year for three years, so it's worth it.
