Thank you, Merry. Thanks first one only blooms in the morning. The flowers open when the sun hits them in the morning and they are closed by noon. It is one of my favorites. We have deer in the neighborhood but they don't come in our yard. There is a bear that comes through occasionally and we have to repair the fence every time he does.

Thank you, Frank. I should have used a defuser on the purple flowers. They were in bright sunlight. They are really neat flowers. I plant a couple of very small plants last year and they disappeared when it got hot. This spring dozens of them came up from seed and they have put on quite a show.

Thank you! I would gladly send you a truckload of the heat. We had a very mild winter and it looks like we are going to cook this summer. Much too early to be this hot!
