First off, please reconsider. You may have lost an interest now but that is probably because you we not properly instructed/educated in your true ability to communicate to others. I started photographing in high school in 1976. My teacher would comment how he could "touch" or "taste" my images. I have a different career now but still love hearing his voice in my mind now that he has passed on. I can be privately messaged if you wish. I would not mind spending time conversing with another Ugly Hedge Hogger.
There may be other reasons why you chose to give up this wonderful avenue of expression. I get frustrated sometimes by "shlepping" my gear around too. But, I still do it for many reasons. I am still hoping to get that one shot that is forever memorable.
I spent a great deal of time teaching and inspiring my son before he passed away. I have created a memorial foundation in his honor. Check out our website: www.BGMFoundation.org. One of our many projects is to donate some of my old camera equipment to his old high school. I would like to know if you wish to donate some equipment. I will place a brass plaque with your name on the item. In the fall 2019 we will have a dedication assembly. You are welcome as my guest to the assembly to Brooklyn, New York if you wish.
Before you "give up" photography, consider all those young eyes and eager minds ready to be filled with the love of photography. Perhaps a career as a teacher may prove rewarding. I will be embarking on a similar path in my future.

so sorry for the passing of your wife, sad to hear you lost passion in photography. photography was a life saver for me, I hope some day you get that passion back. may peace be with you!
