These are a few I took in Kenya last summer. Never rush to publish I say, so a year is long enough. Critiques?
Nice.
(I'd crop out the grass on the top of the first photo.)
will play with that and see how it looks. thanks
I think #1 is great. The composition really adds to the context. Great shot.

What type of bird is #3?
I appears to be some sort of Crane, but I'm not positive.

After seeing this post, knowing this was taken in Africa, and doing a little research, I agree, it is a Yellow Billed Stork. However, it does look similar to a Crane. I guess I don't know the difference between a stork and a crane, birdwise that is.
Well done! I enjoyed them very much!
If that first, beautiful image was mine I would have done differently regarding the composition. A closer view of those leopards (I believe that is what they are) would have been in my opinion a better shot. That can be done with this image by cropping but that implies loosing lots of pixels. I tend to favor shooting animals and showing their environment but not always.
I am illustrating what I mean on a separate personal message.
The first picture is of two cheetahs resting. The other cat is a leopard, if I''m not mistaken.
The 1st image is a definite winner....love it.
