The second one is far and away the best. The first is a bit heavy on the cartoon outlining and the third one retains a shadow image of one of the pistol handles in the black and white section while retaining the cartoon outlining in the color section. The pure black and white works best to my eye. Although, again, the cartoon outlining in the tree stump is a bit distracting. I sure would have liked to see the original in black and white. I think that it's a great composition.
