I have been so inspired by some of the incredible images being posted here (Linda & Keni and others) that I thought I'd try my hand at using a texture and a different blend mode to see what I might come up with. Well, here it is!

Killer shot. Sorry too good to miss . Kind of Dali-ish of course but much more is there. The off-set hands, the missing second hand. The chrome rim is obviously not from a watch, the rust on the bolt holding the rim together adds a subtle touch. I am a texture fan and you have used it nicely. Couple your PP skills with a great imagination and you have produced a winner.

Tommy you did an excellent job! The texture and arrangement give it a surrealistic feel and the colors keep it feeling fun and not too heavy of a message. I enjoyed it.

I like this one, a lot! I think the surreal feel is enhanced by the perspective distortion of the watch face.

Many thanks! You actually saw a couple of things I didn't at first see! That's why I love getting impressions from others - something new always comes out!

Thanks, Keni! I was inspired by your work with the statue that you interpreted with fire and water - really nice! Any tips on how you created these wonderful images?

Thank you for your post, Anvil. I tried to get a kind of "Dali" feel by distorting the watch face, and I'm glad that came through!
