My office was next to our company controller, so I heard the tale from him. I was on the board of a Credit Union in the ‘90s, and it was an issue there, too. But I agree, it’s brainlessly stupid!

I received on for 2 cents about a year ago.

If you have ever driven in Florida you know toll roads are very common. Sometimes there is no toll booth, you see a flash in your rear view mirror and about 2 weeks later you get a bill in the mail for $0.75!!
