Here's a state that thinks an 11 year old rape victim should be forced to carry the rapists' baby to term.
Here's a state that thinks a doctor, providing an abortion should get a longer sentence than the rapist.
Here's a state with a bunch of bible thumpers running the State and throwing women under the bus.
Alabama, You disgust me.
Well said... Working at Detroit Receiving Hospital ... too many horror stories about the results of "small business" backroom abortions. Abortions are a fact of life regardless of law.

It's obviously designed to b a challenge to Roe v Wade. If you were to read Roe you would see that they intended abortion to be limited to viability, which was at the time. 6 mo's or the end of the second trimester. But now abortion is allowed at ANY time, even the last day. And that is obscene, except for very rare maternal death risk.

As long as you stay in Alabama. The only state where your mother can be your sister.
Yup.
These jackboots may have been ready to negotiate, and surprised this crap made it as far as it did.
Why do the anti-Sharia proposals always get knocked down so fast?
Rigid, religious conservative cults like Islam and Catholicism are trusted to play "follow the leader".
Tell them you believe them, believe in them, and like them:they'll go as the titled authority says.
KNOW YOUR PLACE! Women, especially.
Ain't Alabama one of those states that entitles the rapist to joint custody and visitation?
And since the little Mom is probably living with her working family he can sue for support.
Boycott China? Boycott Alabama and Georgia too. Also.

What's the matter harry, you afraid the may stop the left killing babies? Maybe you could get a hobby or take up bowling.
I would suggest that if women are not permitted to terminate a pregnancy, they need another law. Write a law that makes it a Class A Felony for a man to impregnate a woman unintentionally. Perhaps putting him in prison for twenty-five years will teach him to keep it in his pants.
The other point is that if it is god's will that women deliver every baby then it is obviously god's will when a man has erectile dysfunction. Thus, Viagra should not be covered by insurance and it should be outlawed as against god's will.
Finally, if we're going to force women to carry the baby that was conceived during a rape or incest attack, then the penalty for rape and/or incest must be death by stoning.
If we're going to oppress women, we need to go full Old Testament on men.
I’ve read the article. Did I miss the part regarding Sharia law in Alabama?

Spoon feed time. Huckabee and the other big time white trash preachers have a dream of a fundamentalist theocracy to govern America. Fundie preachers and Ayatollahs are the two sides of the same coin.

Jesus loves his prosaic plodders. Babylon loves the poorly educated. You're in the good books with both of them. You get all the breaks.
