Allerton Garden, also known as Lāwaʻi-kai, is a botanical garden, originally created by Robert Allerton and John Gregg Allerton, located on the south shore of Kauai, Hawaii
The botanical gardens on Kauai are truly magical.
His estate is located in Monticello Illinois...
I have been there many times...
It is a very attractive and amazing world placed in the middle of Illinois farm land.
Nice. The grounds are a big player in the original Jurassic Park.

We've driven past it a few times, but have never stopped. We have a timeshare about 3 miles away and will be there next month; we may have to stop there.
You won’t be disappointed. There are two tours, approximately 2.5 hours. One is called a sunset tour, which takes you down to a beautiful beach. We have taken both, and have been very impressed. The sunset tour is a bit misleading, since you really can’t see the sunset from the beach as it is blocked from view. It does however occur at ‘sunset’. Tours start at $60 per adult person, children are less.
