This seems like a no-brainer, but I can't do it. How can I record audio that is playing on my computer? I've done a search using Google, but nothing works. Following the steps they give, I get to a certain point, and the next step they show isn't available. I've downloaded a few audio programs, but they don't record. I'm using Windows 10. I'd like to record directly to the computer, not through a mic.
If you are watching a music video on YouTube, you can make a MP3 audio of that video file using a program from Media Human. Here is the link to download it.
Once you have the Media Human program installed on your PC, open it up. When you have a music video playing in YouTube, click the link for the YouTube video in the toolbar, then paste the link into the Media Human program where it says "Paste Link", top left in the converter. Media Human will convert the video file to an MP3 audio file, then save it in a folder named Media Human > Music, in the "Downloads" folder on your PC. Its as simple and easy as that, and works great.
