That seems to be a dead end. I bought a couple of Radio Shack kits, but I never put them together. Take a look here.

Trigger Trap
I just purchased the iphone app from the app store for $9.95 and the two cables needed to conect to my canon from amazon for $20.00 so I not out much. It will do time lapse, trigger from bang or clap, act as cable release, seismic cable release & faciai recognition, magnetic, motion detection & also works with iphone camera.

I'll have to look at that. I also like the kits offered by HiViz.

How does the iPhone connect to the camera - PC connection of hot shoe?

What's the app called? I didn't see any for $9.95.

I met a fellow in the netherlands who uses equipment from here: www.eltima-electronic.dees Examples of his work can be seen on 500px under Edwin Katz. It is a german company and they are very nice.

Here is a site that offers really good information about motion/sound triggers. This is expensive equipment and might require a 2nd. on your house. The photographs on the site are well worth the time to look.

really good thing about this if you have a smart phone is the low cost. Just have to have the app for 9.95 and cable for your camera for 20.00. They are marketing a self contained unit for $125 which is the least expensive I have seen so far.
