Good shot. They are more gentle when in the water, but will still bite. Interestingly, turtles have no teeth, but the mandible (lower jaw) is like a cleaver.
You can pick one up by the tail, and it can't bite you as long as you hold it out (not near you). Now, why would anyone want to do that?
Very nice! Relatively clean and bright for a snapper. Usually they are quite a bit darker in color.
