Nice work with just an iPhone.
I think I Phones and cell phones, in general, are more than; "just"
Neat! I watched one come in to Willie when it was still an AFB. It looked like it wasn't even moving!
Wonderful picture. I flew in Nine-O-Nine the B-17. The biggest thrill of my life. I was inside Fifi when it was in Fort Wayne, Indiana a few years ago. I can't say enough about how great those warbirds are. I am so thankful that there are people that have the time and money to keep them flying.

Me too Mike. the 909 comes to New Smyrna Beach for it's annual every year. Also the B24 and B25.
Seeing FiFi flying is always a treat. If you like seeing WWI/WWII military aircraft that fly, and don't mind a road trip to Virginia Beach, the Military Aviation Museum (MAM) is one of the largest private collections of operational aircraft in the United States. We're affiliated with The Smithsonian - if you ever watch the Air and Space Magazine adds on TV, you'll see our RAF DeHavilland Mosquito (1st one restored to flying condition a few years ago), Spitfire, Hurricane, P51-D Mustang "Double Trouble Two" along with a couple of our WWI aircraft. The neatest part about the MAM is that visitors can get as close as they like (but PLEASE do not touch) our aircraft. I'm one of the Docent's (Tour Guide), and (surprise) one of the Photographer's for the MAM. War Birds Over The Beach (WOTB) 2019 is coming up the 17th-19th of May. We launch a variety of aircraft from fighters to medium bombers (B25-J Mitchell Bomber a.k.a. Doolittle Raider Aircraft) of the US, RAF, Luftwaffe, French Russian... etc. Curious?

Today’s annual insp brought to you by Ryan aircraft
And I get to fly it today😉
Nice shot with your Iphone. FIFI is based here in Dallas, I got to see her for the first time a couple of years ago. It is a beautiful aircraft. She has been here for Wings over Dallas which is a great air show put on by the Commemorative Air Force. I would like to see the other flying B-29 Doc.
Here are a few pics I was able to get.. FIFI is very photogenic !

Nice image with the iPhone.
Nice shot Bill. The other air worthy B-29 is named "Doc". I have several images of FIFI. She was a regular at the WWII air show sponsored by the World War II Museum in New Orleans. Well worth attending if you ever get the opportunity.
