Found a bee swarm in one of my almond trees. Got my camera to get some photos and while out I took some photos of some of my flowers blooming right now.....I was in low light so some are not so good when blown up....they were shot at 1600 iso which I would think on a Nikon D7200 would be better.

Beautiful flowers. I wouldn’t get near those bees.

Nice series!👍👍👍👍
What are those brightly-colored objects in your pics? Are they the "flowers" of which you speak? Here in Michigan,we are unfamiliar with such things. Snow yesterday, and rain all day and all night!! It's good to know some of the people here at the HOG are enjoying nice weather!!

An excellent series. A beautiful set of flowers you have in your backyard. Be careful of them bees they can get very nasty. The downloads are beautiful -- they didn't look dark at all. Mahalo for sharing.

Thanks for your kind words..... The problem I was talking was grain, which should not be as bad at 1600 iso, but is is a result of not enough light....

Thanks for looking Carol and the kind words. Glad you enjoyed them.

I didn't get that close to the bees thanks to telephoto lens. Although they won't bother you when they're swarming they're too busy with the queen keeping her cool or warm. The guy that I called to come get them just put a bee box under the hive with the lid off hit the branch hard and they just fell right into the box most of them with the queen, and the rest followed within 12 14 hours. He didn't even wear the suit and didn't get stung.
