Osprey with a fish coming at me.

Hand held at 600mm. Distance was about 125-150 feet.
Canon 5Dsr - Canon 300 2.8 II - Canon 2x III - 1/1328 - f/13 - ISO @ 1000.
Good shot
I will assume the greedy bird was not making a delivery to your frying pan.

No, to the bird's frying pan. Unfortunately, they eat and disappear for an hour. But we have many Ospreys here that will pose for our cameras.
Thank you very much, Robert.

Regis, the detail of the Osprey and the trout is fantastic in a DDL.
Greg
Your work is fantastic. Great wildlife.
I use D500 with 300 and tc1.4iii, have the 2.0iii.
Been suggested not use the 2.0, buy 80-400 or 200-500 for reach and composition flexibility, but your shot are fantastic.
I’m going to take it for test run, because the f stop better and prime with tc likely better.
Any suggestions?
