This arrangement was on a table in the foyer of a friend's house, and I felt compelled to get some shots.

It was shot in the ambient light at ISO 800, 1/250, f/3.5 with a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens on a Canon 60D.

This version is the product of a bit of creative cropping as well as removal of some other distracting elements, and composed to be printed at 4x6 for greeting cards.

tulips always look better when they start to "relax" and soften their stems. these look wonderful.

I thought these were more interesting in their "relaxed" state, too and thought the arrangement was worth trying to get shots. I'm glad you enjoyed this photo dancers.
