A lotta miles between gas stations!
I am always amazed at these far away places with immaculate highways for hundreds of miles and not a human in sight .....what if your vehicle decides to die????
Hope there's a cell tower nearby......NOT LIKELY.....no thanks. Iam a coward.

The real 'rush', is the feeling you have due to all that scenery! Just the way I remember it.

lol...my favorite kind of rush hour traffic...great shots and
enjoyed the laugh, mike.
Damn, Mike, I would hate to be stuck in that traffic, I will take LA traffic any time, very good set.

My kind of traffic, love the fall colors in 4.
Not much different from Dakotas, Montana and Wyoming, Mike?
Still remember 3 turns in the whole day in Montana. LOL.
Yup, it's bumper to bumper traffic here. My front bumper to my rear bumper!! 😂😂
Mike, you've captured the essence of how it is here, once you're away from the urban and suburban environments. I can't say where those were taken, but it could be on the Parks Hwy, north of the Talkeetna Junction, or south of Cantwell, or somewhere along the Richardson Hwy between Glennallen and Delta. Or even in places along the Alaska Hwy. But that's how it is in the fall after tourist season is over. Lonely stretches. Great Stuff, Mike. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a private Interstate. I travelled a few roads like that in the Dakotas years ago - no cars coming toward us and no cars in the rearview mirror
