I think this is a "yellow legs" except......it did not appear to actually have yellow legs.

I would say a Willet due to bill size and shape as well as the overall shape of the bird. Does it have a black and white pattern on the underwings when it flies?

Never got to see him fly. I looked at the cornell site and.....I think you're right. I'll call it a Willet until further notice.

He's a beauty no question but I don't know about the Leg thing
So......I guess this is a Willet but there doesn't seem to be any way for me to go back and change anything.
Dark legs, long, stout bill, larger than the greater yellowlegs, but with the same profile.... yup... definitely a willet.
