Some of the best days of my life were spent driving whiteface cattle out of the mpuntain pastures south of Gypsum, Colorado, one September nearly 50 years ago. I regret that the only photos I have of those days
are in my mind. Wonderful place, nice horses, great cattle and good friends. I miss the people that were there in those days that are no longer with us. Thanks for your nice photos, especially of the cattle.

Exactly my thoughts about the original post except I was in the hill country area in central Texas.
Bought that ranch in the 60's after getting out of the Navy and kept it up until just a few years ago. Was a great place to adjust to a peaceful civilian life after the turmoil of the Cold War cat and mouse games.
