Received on social media...enjoy.

This video should bring back some memories.... So, enjoy it. For those of us who experienced the iconic 1950's, a decade that will never be repeated....The cars were fantastic. The music was so wonderful, romantic, nostalgic and magical.... We were rich and did not know it! We were innocent and thought we were experienced. We were very fortunate to have lived in such an era. Enjoy the past as revealed here. I especially like the enthusiasm shown on the kids faces doing the "Stroll"!

Brings back great memories . The Best of Times!!!

I was a teen in the 50s and did not appreciate it at the time. This is wonderful. The music especially, and the cars. Thank you.

Love it. The best music ever. No rap crap. The short clip of the monster steering wheel reminded me of my first car. I bought a 1947 4 door Plymouth from a retiring Master Gunnery Sargent in 1961 when I was in the Marines. It had 97,000 miles and armstrong steering, 3 on the column.

That was the era when you could tell the boys from the girls just from the haircut!

I knew how to dance ---- waltz, foxtrot, jitterbug - had taken the lessons 3 times. Then along came Elvis (the pelvis) and then kids started dancing half an auditorium apart and all my dance classes were old fashioned. I was born too early.

It's good to look back on those times, but I'd rather be living now than then.

I graduated from high school in 1960, so I definitely experience the 1950s. It was a great decade to be a teen! My first car was a 1955 Chevy. I bought it used for $600! One comment... Wearing a suit or a sports coat to a dance must be an east coast thing. I grew up in the central valley of California and didn't own or wear a suit until I got married.

Smile. Not only to dances, we wore coats and ties to Saturday College fall football games. Of course in the south it was not unusual to wear a shirt and tie but no socks - just a regional thing I guess. Those were carefree years, right until the moment I received my draft notice - then everything changed radically (and I can’t say it was always for the better). Innocence lost very quickly.

We attended a UGA football game in Athens, Ga a few years ago and saw quite a few frat boys wearing as shirts and ties.

I grew up in NorCal in the 50's and we were pretty casual as well. I think the TV stations that had a music/dance show like Dick Clark's American Bandstand required to the boys to wear a jacket and tie to the programs. When I headed off to college at UCSB I discovered that I didn't know what casual was until I got there!!
