You have gone the extra mile and can be satisfied that you have the best possible optic for your purposes. Now, when your images are made, you can be confident that, if there are any problems, it is not with the equipment!

watching the responses, I am considering a purchase of a wide angle lens also. I like the 15 to 30 span much better.

If I understand the disjointed message, you have already purchased the lense(s). It’s a heck of a time to be asking if they are any good?

I have the Tamron 15-30, version 1, I have used it for interiors, landscapes and shooting the stars on the D850. It’s a wonderful lens, the only downside is it’s kind of big and has the bulbous front glass but the image quality is excellent. My Nikon system is now getting less use since I recently added the Fujifilm X-T3 and way too many lenses. Loving both systems, keep shooting!!!

It does not matter what we think. After you use the lenses, what do you think? Especially since you have already bought these lenses.
Personally I read only reviews of actual users, not REVIEWS. I make up my own mind, I never buy and lens and THEN ask what others think of it. Sort of As_ backwards in my opinion.

The Sigma 20mm f/1.4 is an awesome lens. Have it, fast and sharp.

I have the Tokina 16-28 f2.8 and love it. I bought it refurbished from Tokina and have used it for at least 1K photos over the past year. The lens is extremely sharp and fast producing excellent results. I don't know much about the Tamron, but I don't think it could be that much better than the Tokina.

I had the Tokina for several years, the lens he points to in the OP is a newly released lens, my old Tokina 16-28 f/2.8 was probably the best value proposition in that focal range, Tokina makes good glass. Having said that it was not as good as some of the more expensive offerings in that focal range. Currently I have a Canon 16-35 f/4L IS for landscape because it will take regular filters and a Samyang 14mm f/2.8 and a Sigma 20mm f/1.4 for night skies. All three are sharper than the Tokina even though the Tokina was a great lens. I suspect the new Tokina is an improvement over the older version.

Yes, so is the 24 f1.4 Sony G master

If you are looking for sharpness in this range - finding a zoom will be a challenge !

IMO, the new Nikon wide zoom S lens for the mirrorless will be the one.

I am not familiar with the new Tokina Opera lens but I am with the old one of the Pro series. By the way, the optical formula of both lenses is the same but the Opera lens has a faster and better AF according to Tokina.
I have not seen much on the way of images from the Opera lens but the Pro lens is well known for its excellent built and sharpness. I use a Nikon 12-24 f4 AF-S and it is enough wide angle zoom for me but if I were in the market for a wide angle zoom I would not hesitate a second buying the Tokina lens.
