50th Anniversary of the East Coast Surfing Championship - Virginia Beach

The Virginia Beach Jaycee's have been hosting this ever-growing competition since 1962. This year's event showed lots of new talent in addition to some of the legends of surfing on the East Coast. Although I am a Southern Californian to the core of my soul, there is a certain amount of 'cool' in what I saw this past week. I hope you'll enjoy these images.
