Who does this remind you of,the thought came into my little mind and I just had to conjure up this image.
Yes, this is a mess. I think there are - what - just eight days left before withdrawal? I hear that people are demanding another chance to vote.

I'm an American with several great English friends who support Brexit for many reasons that I respect. I have read (and have been told) that those that want to stay in the EU, along with some wanting a re-vote are many MP's that ignore the people's vote to leave the EU and vote based on their personal ideologies, which often is to stay in the EU. Some also believe that Ms. May is complicit with British "remainers?!?"
It'd be great to hear from British members of the hedgehog, for some reality as to what is really happening.

As a US-based Brit, I think the situation is becoming laughable... They already had a referendum on this! If they do it again, and this time the scaremongering persuades people to vote to stay in, what next? Best out of 3???

ayup - what Stan said … don't like the outcome? just try again - go forum shopping, claim the jury pool was rigged, have a protest march, hit the talk shows and complain that you're an official victim … just whine and kvetch until you get what you want ...

Didn't PM May get "pulled" into supporting BREXIT, since it was popularly supported? While she's a Conservative, she certainly acts more like a centrist than Maggie Thatcher.
England voted 53.4% to 46.6% for Brexit. Wales voted 52.5% to 47.5% for Brexit. Northern Ireland and Scotland voted to stay in the European Union. There seems to be division in the UK, regarding this separation. However, I don't consider myself to be very knowledgeable about the politics of the UK, as I am in American politics. Theresa May has her hands full. On resolving this matter, the way she wants it to go.
The problem is that during the campaign two years ago the brexit campaigners lied and played on people's fears which were mainly unfounded. Since the referendum several things have come to light for example the Russians want us to leave because it made us weaker and broke up one of their fears European solidarity. They backed up a massive social media campaign based on lies and half truths which is still going on today trying to ensure we leave. There has recently been a petition asking people if they wish to now remain it received votes by 5 million people in 3 days and a million people marched in London as a protest against leaving. Now the British people realise how they were duped two years ago a second referendum should be held to settle the issue once and for all either way.

No one understands BREXIT here anymore, the whole thing has become a total fiasco to the Brits and the rest of the EU. Like many others I have cancelled my next visit to Europe and will stay in the UK. There are lots of cheap European holidays and cruises available right now for those willing to take a gamble, which is not surprising.

Sounds like the Russians are into everyone's business these days, using social media to further their agenda - fear and divisiveness. It's working like a charm still in the U.S.
