I like #2, Diane. Some of my favorite images were made while I was standing next to the "Trespassers Will Be Shot" sign.

Thankfully I was the only shooter in this shot!

Great shot; nice work. I do much prefer the processing technique on the first one.

Thank you Jaymatt. I used the same technique on both, think I dialed it back more on the first and may have even masked it away some in the foreground. The grass area was a little sparsely filled and the filter applied was a quick fix. I tried to keep #1 more on the realistic side as it was more about the gate. #2, however, I kind of liked what it was doing in the trees and grass...adding a touch of painterly feel. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I did debate the effect but in the end I decided to just have fun with it.

Well done, Diane.

Thank you Earnest. I cannot count the times I have thrown my family around in my sudden u-turns and pull-overs with orders to get out because the field of flowers and light are perfect conditions, etc. Luckily they are pretty used to it by now and always humor me in good spirits.

Yes, Diane, I use to do that in my old film days, I kids actually enjoyed being tossed around. Now a days, at my age, it's hard for me to get around, now they toss me all around, isn't karma a bitch.

Yes, indeed. Sometimes karma is an ally, sometimes an opponent! lol These days I toss around my Husband, Sister and aging Mother. Our Son, being grown and married, does not often join our excursions.

Cool pp, love the "through-the-gate" view! You are braver than I re trespassing

Linda,
I have found if you approach people with a smile most of the time they are flattered that you want a picture... I have also offered a copy of what ever I take on their land... So far I havn't been chased or shot at by the farmers... lol

Thanks, Larry. I agree, a friendly approach is hardly ever turned away!
