I do what is called "haiga" It's a Japaness form meaning art and poem.
I like them very much, you read the caption then you start thinking...nice
The artist achieves her potential.

You taught an old dog new tricks. I had never heard of this form before. Are the poems like haikus limited to a certain number of sylabels? where did you come across this? enlighten me oh wise one. :idea:

The poems are like haiku, but not as strict. It's really an old form. Used to be paintings with poetry, or wood blocks. The poem and the art are supposed to be complimentary rather than picture and caption.
The one attached is called haibun. Started by the poet Basho. Sort of a travel log with poetry.
I absolutely love these... so creative...

The Bowl of Flowers & The Busy Bee are just works of art. How n the world did you get that effect. Looks more like a painting.
