This is my little visitor " Squizzy" In 1897 his ancestors emigrated here from North America. He has done very well for himself and now his family are the most abundant squirrels in the UK. Our own indigenous squirrel was the Red Squirrel which has been here for thousands of year.
Many people in the UK think the american gray being bigger is responsible for the decline in the red by killing them and taking over their territory, but as far as I know this is a myth.
The only red squirrel I have seen ever, was in Scotland where they are abundant.

Excellent sharp work! I loved my little Fuji, but, l gave it to my friends daughter with Cystic Fibrosis. Forces me to learn the Canon and not fall back on what I already know.
My father is in the "squirrel relocation program" , they eat the birdseed , so he traps them and takes them for a ride.
