Red Amaryllis (6)

My daughter gave my wife a bulb kit and she potted it. This is what grew. The bright red blooms really brightened up our living room.

I shot these HH indoors in natural daylight coming thru the window using a Canon EOS 50D w/17-85mm EF-S lens @ 85mm; Av @ f5.6. Background is a poster board. PP w/PSE8.

I hope you like these. Comments welcome.

Nice Gene. The back grounds really adds a lot to the beauty of the flower.

Thank you, Erv. I didn't want all the furniture in the picture. This is the first Amaryllis my wife ever grew and we were impressed with its bright color. Thanks for looking.

 Oh, no, Robbie. Besides being cheerfully bright, they do have a very pleasant aroma. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the room. Too bad the pictures don't have smell-a-vision. Glad you like 'em and thanks for looking. -- Gene
