Here's a few from Daytona 500 practice Feb. 20th. Nikon D-7000 with 55-300mm f4.5-5.6 ED VR. Opinions welcome. Oh, forgot to mention, These shots are at about 197 MPH!!

You'd never know it....they look like they are parked.
Next time you might want to use a panning technique with a slower shutter speed to show some movement.

Nice shots .... Gordon is back if style this year let me see if I have this right Out side of the front row.....maybe wishful thinking.

great catch and good timing...as mentioned panning may have helped to show some movement

Yup, but got a speeding penalty for speeding coming into the pits in the Duel 150.

Wow is all I can say. I have been to Daytona and 2 other tracks but never got pics like these.

Thanks, I got about 120 shots for the day. But sorry I'm not going to the race. Too crowded to photograph and waaaaayyy to expensive! This is the 5th year of shooting the practice session and the method and settings I use have proven to yield the bets results.
