Technology certainly is progressing by leaps and bounds. You will be greeted by a Cadillac commercial but it is worth the wait. The stuff that can be done with a phone is just amazing..

A doctor I work with in South Africa predicted this about a year ago. It is the future.

I love the idea of being in the field and having the ability to pass critical medical data to a doctor or hospital and aid a person accurately and in a timely manner.

Outstanding.

Thank you for posting.

You notice the video says it may change this mans profession. He will probably go from being a doctor to a scientist. Why-because the hospitals would ask him to leave, if he were not to use their proper channels. The Hospitals all need to use their Techs & charge insurance company's big bucks for (x-rays, blood profiles,ultra-sounds, etc.) or lay off, half of their staff. I don't think you & I will see this stuff, but it looks feasible in the future. I realize they may be using this now-but only in the big facilities like Mayo, not in yours and my town, & we have a brand new hospital. Can you imagine how smart that doctor would have to be, to know how to use all those apps. & keep up with all his medical knowledge etc. I would think he would be burned-out by the time he was 40. Maybe they already are, & that's why we have such a shortage of doctors today. Amazing stuff thou---

My wife is a doctor...and thought it was fascinating...but she said...now you need the patients to comply...to actually care about their own health...rather than have us do it for them....they stress their bodies to the max...and think we can fix it

With health insurance costs continously rising in the U.S., this technology may possibly give rise to black market "doctors". Think about it - with a few hundred dollars, a few medical books, any one can make a diagnosis.
