Second Cenury Roman Pot

For general interest I have posted these shots.

Roy is a 67yr old man who lives in my Village, he phoned me to tell me of his find and asked me if I would rebuild it on my laptop for him. Roy has found many very interesting articles from the Roman period and as an interest to our American members, he has also found many artefacts left by American airman, zippo lighters, ammuntion rounds etc etc.
Some of you may be interested to know that the airstrip where legendry band leader Glen Millers areoplane took off on his last flight is just 18 miles from where I lived..Hope you enjoy

Very interesting articles Robert, did your friend discover the Simian bowl whilst digging for another artefact?

Hi Macro2009 :-) Ihave to tell you, my friend is so occupied with his hobby i.e. metal detecting that the internet is the last place he will be, he reads books and when I tell him something new that Ive read on Yahoo or such, I have to show him on my laptop :-) I have kept your links which I will enjoy reading later on tonight.So they wont go to waste ...thanks for replying :-)

I am always aware we are a global site. The Wikipedia links are for fellow users who have more than likely never heard of Simian ware.

I appreciate these types of links need to be controlled in numbers.
