Got this in a lens deal, and never really wanted the camera. YOu can buy these very reasonably on ebay, but you can have this one for FREE; all you pay is whatever it costs to ship it to you. I have NOT taken any pictures with this camera, but it takes AAA batteries, and I did 'fire it up' , and it appears to operate flawlessly. It is exceptionally clean given it's age. Actually it looks almost showroom condition!
You could but a great lens for this camera for about $25 on ebay or elsewhere, so if you have a love for film...why not.
It does not come with a body cap, sorry!

Konica Minolta Maxxum 7000
http://robertscamera.com/index.php/maxxum-7000-18219293.html?gclid=CIrd2tP0x7UCFULf4AodlnMANwI was wondering about the lens I have with my Minolta SRT-201,whether they would work, but I found the answer
on Wikipedia.....
The Minolta Alpha camera system was a collection of photographic equipment from Minolta. The system used a lens mount called A-mount, with a flange focal distance 44.50 mm. The new mount was larger than the older SR-mount making old manual lenses incompatible with the new system. The mount is now used by Sony, who bought the SLR camera division from Konica Minolta, Konica and Minolta having merged a few years before.
