Well we got 2 inchs or so of snow today and the redbirds n others were out in force I took at least 350 photos of them, of course some weren't acceptable some even actually missed the birds as they wouldn't sit still for long , but i did get some keepers and a few excellent shots even if i say so my self . Will Post the some of the one's i considered the best .

Wow, nice shots. The bird feeder seems to be a good idea. I have yet to try my hand at bird photography.

Thanks , they were hittin all 3 feeders n both suets all day long , belive it or not those were taken thru the glass storm door appox 12 ft from feeders.
Most shots were taken in manual mode as auto focus was not fast enuff for the fast shooting taking place.

Only 2 inches? Lucky stiff. We've had something like 8" so far in north central Missouri along with strong winds. I managed to make it home from work, unlike many others off in the ditch, but my car is stuck halfway up the driveway. A Mercury Topaz doesn't like 2' drfts. I have a snowdrift inside the barn that is between my knee and waist, and that's just from blowing through the space along the ridgecap. I know what I'll be doing tomorrow, pushing snow. And yesterday I saw a bunch of male Robins up here. I wonder how many of them are left?
