What a Difference a Day Makes! 24 Little Hours...
... from Maine's Blizzard of 2013 to the Beaches of Sunny Southern California! It was a most welcome outer body experience to suddenly be walking La Jolla Shores Beach after days of digging out from the blizzard! :D :D I am still learning my way around the new Panasonic GH3 and 35-100mm lens, but here are some early results.

Thank you so much for taking a peek, Heart! I do agree with you, Colorado is God's country! I enjoyed 4 great years in the shadow of Pike's Peak at Colorado College. ;) :)
Thanks so much, Angler! A much needed break from the deep freeze!

All your photos are great but I love the under pier shot; the perspective, the light, the color of the sand and the water.

Thanks so much rlaugh. After your excellent still life posting - and all the accompanying flack - I decided not to ask for critiquing this time around! You are a very good sport ;) :)!!
