I know the angle of the newborn was probably a little low but any suggestions on how to make it better?

i think the image is beautiful and should make you famous , but it is all about focus now. it really is fantastic .i am glad i saw it , see ya.

You did a good job, but I agree with rpavich, not a good angle. As you said, too low also.

Nice idea but the thing on the head distracts...would love to see the same shot without the head thing at a slightly higher angle.

take off the silly head band, i hate these on babies, move to right 45 degrees and raise yourself up 45 degrees then retake the shot.

I was more drawn to the headband than I was to the baby and if you hadn't titled the post it would have taken me a while to recognize what it was. I agree to get rid of the headband and try some different angles. Your focus is on the headband and not the baby---I'm not against this angle as I am about the distractions away from the baby. This angle might be just fine W/O the headband, also try moving the baby, tilted toward the camera more---all just some suggestions that might help it to be a better shot of the new little one..........
