Thank you. I have ended up with fourteen 4"x6" and five 8"x10" test prints to get to this point. :roll:

If you are playing around with PP, you might as well layer in a more dynamic sky since you have shch a fine horizon line going for you in photo 2. It's a really fine shot as is, but it has such great potential in PP.

Agree. I have a collection of blue skies with clouds, but not happy with any of them for this application really; this seemed the best fit of the lot. If we ever get any blue skies around here again I'm going to be adding to the collection.

Sorry, my comment was for Photo 1. Photo 2 is really heavy haze which I left as-is intentionally. The only PP I did on Photo 2 was contrast adjustment on water and ship.
